What do you know about PVC for wire and cable sheathing?

In addition to being used in the insulation of wire and cable, PVC plastic is also widely used in sheathing. As a sheath, PVC plastic requires good corrosion resistance, adequate mechanical properties, softness, easy processing and laying characteristics. The main sheath with PVC PVC plastic has the following types:

1) Model H-70, the long-term working temperature of 70℃ or 80℃, to achieve a certain mechanical strength, and has good heat resistance, photoaging and cold resistance, among which the long-term working temperature of 70℃ PVC sheath is mainly used in 450/750V and below wire and cable, 80℃ is used in 26/35kV and below power cable sheath.

2) Model HR-70, long-term working temperature 70℃ or 80℃, good softness and cold resistance, used for 450/750V and below soft wire and cable.

3) Model H Ⅰ-90, long-term working temperature 90℃, has good heat resistance, sufficient mechanical strength, used for 26/35kV and below power cable.

4) Model HⅡ-90, long-term working temperature 90℃, has good heat resistance, sufficient mechanical strength, used for 450/750kV and below wire and cable.
